CSUN Assistive Technology Conference
This interactive panel will focus on four technological innovations that use Universal Design for Learning (UDL all learners access and engage in challenging academic content.
Universal Design for Learning (UDL) has grown to become a widely recognized framework for designing instructional experiences the address the wide variability in learner needs and characteristics.
The innovations include SNUDLE (a UDL based science notebook), Writers Workbench (a teacher tool to support writing), CISL (a Suite of digital tools to engage with digital content to support learning) CORGI (a Google app for STEM and history), and; TCP II (a career exploration game). We will have an interactive discussion of four UDL applications, development, research, adoption and scale, as well as challenges.
